The Chinese Culture Institute invites you on a journey to experience the rich cultures of China, Korea and other Asian countries during our Mid-Autumn Festival. Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates families and togetherness, as well as the pursuit of harmony, joy and unity.
The event will be held on September 17th at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival. This is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Similar holidays are celebrated in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and other countries in East and Southeast Asia.
Program Schedule:
Cultural Activities, 2:00 P.M.-6:45P.M.
Family friendly culture activities include calligraphy, craft – lantern making and origami, face painting, art display, dragon dance, oriental medicine consultation.
Free Admission to the public. Pre-registration is required. Registration will close when capacity is reached.

Mid-Autumn Festival Concert showcases traditional Chinese, Korean and other musical and cultural performances. The concert celebrates families and togetherness, as well as the pursuit of harmony, joy and unity.
